LifeLinks Your Connection to Mental Health and Wellness

What’s New at LifeLinks?

Telepsychiatry

As we always strive to provide cutting edge treatment for our consumers, LifeLinks is beginning a new telepsychiatry program in January.  Telepsychiatry is currently one of the most effective ways to increase access to psychiatric care for individuals living in underserved and rural areas.

Telepsychiatry, or telemedicine, is a specifically defined form of video conferencing that can provide psychiatric services to consumers living in remote locations or otherwise underserved areas. This service will connect our consumers with a psychiatrist through the use of videophones, Consumers who have participated in telepsychiatry in other parts of the country report that they are satisfied with the care they are receiving and feel that telepsychiatry is a safe and reliable way to obtain psychiatric care.

DUI Risk Assessment

Beginning in February, LifeLinks will be offering Driving under the Influence (DUI) evaluations and risk education classes. Three of our licensed therapists will be certified to provide this service to the area.  Stay tuned or call our Access Center at 238-5700 for more information.

Our annual appeal

Last year LifeLinks served 2000 children, adolescents and adults!  We provided more than 50,000 services to our consumers. But, we need your help to continue.  Our annual appeal is going on right now.  Consider an end of year donation to LifeLinks.
